Gustavo Rodríguez R.
Founding and Managing Partner

Gustavo is a Founding Member and Managing Partner of the Rodríguez, Hernández & Wulff law firm, where he has developed his practice without interruption for over four decades advising both national and foreign corporations with a focus in the corporate and labor areas.

He trained at the Universidad Central de Venezuela where he obtained his law degree in 1963, where he also undertook further post-graduate studies in Corporate Law in 1973.  He also obtained three further post-graduate diplomas from the Universidad Católica Andrés Bello in Commercial, Civil and Labor Law in 1978.

Gustavo has authored many articles in specialized publications and notably Payment of weekly rest days and Holidays: a critical view of the constant jurisprudence of Supreme Court of Justice.

Alejandro Rodríguez Rangel
Managing Partner

Alejandro is a Managing Partner in the firm Rodríguez, Hernández & Wulff where he has his professional practice since 1995, focusing in corporate and labor matters on behalf of the firm’s clients, both national and transnational companies.

He obtained his law degree from the Universidad Santa María in 1995.  He then went on to complete his training at the Universidad Católica Andrés Bello, where he obtained a post-graduate degree in Labor Law in 2002.

Alejandro speaks Spanish and English, the latter thanks to studies undertaken at the University of Illinois, Urbana-Champaign, USA.

César Wulff
Associate

César obtained his law degree from the Universidad Católica Andrés Bello in 2006, where he is currently pursuing a post-graduate degree in Corporate Law.  He joined the firm in 2014, following in the tradition of his father Harold, who was one of its founding member. He is currently taking studies in Commercial Law at Universidad Católica Andrés Bello.

Oswaldo Hernández Feo
Founding Member

Oswaldo is one of the founding members of the firm.  While he is no longer a partner, he continues to collaborate with it while at the same time he continues to develop an independent professional activity based out of our offices.

He obtained his law degree from the Universidad Central de Venezuela in 1964, where he also obtained a post-graduate degree in Tax Law in 1975. He undertook further post-graduate studies at the Universidad Católica Andrés Bello where he specialized in 1978.

All along his professional career, Oswaldo has held such high-level as Deputy General Counsel of the Banco Industrial de Venezuela, General Counsel of Fiveca (a financial institution) and General Counsel of Fondo Industrial de Venezuela.  He was also President of the Board of Receivers of SACCO (a financial institution).

Gustavo E. Rodríguez Rangel
Of Counsel

Gustavo began his career in Venezuela as an associate of the RH&W law firm, where he practiced for 13 years during which time he created and developed the Tax Practice, thus becoming a partner.  He then decided to accept an offer from French multinational Geoservices (later acquired by Schlumberger), where over a 5-year period he held three high level positions in the legal and tax areas.  He subsequently accepted a position with French multinational Veolia Transport, a subsidiary of Veolia Environnement, member of the CAC 40 index.  His last position was that of General Counsel and Deputy CEO of Transdev’s (formerly Veolia Transport) South Zone, where he was in charge of co-managing the BU (TO of 800 M€; approx. 10,000 workforce), as well as directing the development efforts in the zone: Southern Europe, Latin America, Middle East, Maghreb and international coach lines.

Gustavo holds a law degree from the Universidad Católica Andrés Bello (Venezuela), a Specialization in Tax Law from the Universidad Central de Venezuela, and possesses an LLM from Tulane University School of Law (New Orleans, LA, USA).
